He just wanted to go on vacation to Ibiza, then Stuttgart’s Karazor had to be taken into custody for an alleged crime. Now he’s back.
After being released from custody, Atakan Karazor has returned to training with Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart. The club announced this on its website on Wednesday. Sasa Kalajdzic and Borna Sosa, who were willing to change, were also back after injuries.
Karazor was arrested eight weeks ago for a possible crime while on vacation in Ibiza and was in custody. The VfB professional was released on bail two weeks ago. Sports director Sven Mislintat had repeatedly emphasized that the defensive man was “clearly our player and a full member of the team”.
“Ata makes a good impression. He’s happy to be back, has completed his tests,” said VfB coach Matarazzo last week. “But he is still a long way from being used and will need several weeks to be an option.”
