VfB Stuttgart lost at home to Dortmund on Friday evening. But even before the game, some supporters of the Swabians showed aggression. They attacked a deaf BVB fan club.
Incredible action by supporters of VfB Stuttgart: Even before the defeat against Borussia Dortmund (0:2) on Friday evening, some Swabian fans had attacked a deaf BVB fan club and hit a member of the “Deaf BVB Fanclub eV”.
A blood-smeared BVB supporter of the fan club can be seen on Instagram in the story of the Deaf club. In a statement, the fan club wrote in an extra post: “Our member was on his way to the stadium with a friend as he had never been there and didn’t know his way around, he is at the Porsche underpass with our banner over his shoulder ( Canstatter Tribüne) ran towards the stairs. He had the banner over his shoulder because he had just used it to protect himself from the downpour. Suddenly punches came out of nowhere.”
Stuttgart fans probably show remorse
The post continues: “He crouched down and just tried to protect the banner from the robbery. His friend was able to fend off an attacker, but the others happily continued to beat our member and ended up stealing the banner.” In addition, the post writes that nobody would have helped and that the person concerned had to leave the stadium in pain after the first half.
Another BVB fan reacted to the post, drawing attention to the case on Twitter. Accordingly, VfB fans contacted him because he wrote in a tweet: “The Stuttgart scene contacted Deaf and wants to return the stuff, so you know exactly who the perpetrators were.”
So it appears that the perpetrators are showing remorse. So far, neither VfB Stuttgart nor Borussia Dortmund have commented on the incident.
