VF Corporation appoints new executives for Dickies, Altra and Smartwool

The US clothing group VF Corporation has appointed new executives for its brands Dickies, Altra and Smartwool. All three posts were filled with internal candidates, said the group of companies, which also includes the labels The North Face, Vans and Timberland, on Wednesday.

Accordingly, Todd Dalhausser has been named Global Brand President of Dickies. In this role, he will report directly to interim CEO Benno Dorer and be part of the Group’s management team.

Dalhausser had managed the Altra brand since 2018. His move to the top of Dickies led to further personnel changes within the group. Altra’s new brand president is Jen McLaren, who was most recently head of the Smartwool label. She also assumed the role of General Manager, VF North America Key Accounts, and is now responsible for the contacts of all group brands to their most important wholesale partners in North America.

Smartwool will be managed by Jan Van Mossevelde, who has been running the Icebreaker label since 2021. Both brands would continue to operate independently in the future, but “follow a common strategy in order to use their respective strengths and skills on a broader basis within the framework of VF’s global business structures,” the group explained.

McLaren and Van Mossevelde will continue to report to Martino Scabbia Guerrini, who is VF’s EVP and President, EMEA, APAC and Emerging Brands, the group said.
