A very serious car accident has occurred on the Elperstraat (N374) in Schoonloo. A male driver left the road and crashed into a tree.
The emergency services responded en masse, including an air ambulance. The victim was very seriously injured.
Elperstraat is closed in both directions. The road is expected to remain closed to traffic for some time. As far as we know, this was a one-vehicle accident.
