Yolanthe Cabau knows how to loosen the tongues with her, according to critics, a blood -sowing soap series. Jordi Versteegen is worried about her son. “A very scary bond with Mama.”
Telegraaf reporter Jordi Versteegden has looked at the new soap series by Yolanthe Cabau for his work, but is not very enthusiastic. He doesn’t find her relevant enough for her own soap, but is also worried about her son Xess Xava. According to him, it is remarkable that that kid can never be seen with peers.
Where is YO?
Jordi thinks it’s a strange situation. He says in the podcast Strictly private: “Yolanthe says at the start of the first episode:” I actually want to show people who I really am, because people have all kinds of prejudices about me. ” While I think: well, very honest … for the announcement of that soap, I really had something like: where is Yolanthe at all? ”
Nobody really talked about her anymore, he continues. “It wasn’t about her anymore. I mean: she moved to La for acting, because she wanted to start a sort of Hollywood career on it. Well, we have never really heard that she really played in a gigantic film there. So I thought that was strange.”
Strange band
That soap makes it clear that Yolanthe has to let go of her son, says Jordi. “What I also like about this series … her band with Xess Xava, the son she has with Wesley Sneijder, is very touching. They are together all day together, but I also think it’s almost a bit scary. Where are the friends of Xess? We don’t see them at all.”
He continues: “They are only working together. Unless Mommy is working, then he can go to Wesley Sneijder in the Netherlands. But for the rest … so I think that is very strange. She has bought a new house, call it a villa in Bell Air, and we don’t really hear what she really pays.”
19 million euros
Jordi has an idea. He points out that Yolanthe was married to Wesley Sneijder in community of property. “So she reportedly ended about 19 million in the end. But you are not going to tell me that you also earn so much money from film roles, Jan?”
Colleague Jan Uriot: “Well, not in the Netherlands anyway.”
Does Jan see an international breakthrough? “That seems strong.”
