The excitement in Formula 1 continued with the Miami GP. Max Verstappen, who started the race in 3rd place behind Ferrari drivers Leclerc and Sainz, was the first to see the checkered flag.

The 5th challenge of the season was held on the 5.4-kilometer track with the same name as Miami, USA, over 57 laps.
Race, Michael Douglas, Matt Damon, Michael Jordan, Serena Williams, Tom Brady, David Beckham, Dwyane Wade, will.i.am. Many famous names from the world of art and sports, including Pharrell Williams, DJ Khaled, followed.
Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc in pole position maintained his lead at the start, while Red Bull’s Max Verstappen advanced to 2nd place. The defending champion Verstappen took the lead from Leclerc with his attack in the 9th lap.
After the contact between McLaren’s Lando Norris and AlphaTauri’s Pierre Gasly, the safety car entered the track on lap 42. Norris, who crashed, was out of the race.
Unlike Verstappen, Leclerc and Carlos Sainz (Ferrari) in the top 3, Sergio Perez (Red Bull) in 4th place preferred to change tires.
After the safety car period ended on lap 46, Leclerc was unsuccessful in his attempts to pass Verstappen.
Verstappen, who relaxed in the last 3 laps, achieved the fastest lap time and saw the checkered flag in the first place. The 24-year-old driver reached the 3rd place of the season and the 23rd of his career.
Leclerc was second, 3.7 seconds behind Verstappen, and Sainz, who managed to keep Perez behind, was third, 8.2 seconds away from the leader.
Increasing his score to 85, Verstappen reduced the gap between him and Leclerc, the leader of the drivers’ classification, to 19 points.
The 6th race of the season, the Spanish Grand Prix, will be held on 22 May.
