Verhoeven extends contract with kickboxing association Glory for three years

Rico Verhoeven will also play for Glory for the next three years. The kickboxing association reports the contract extension of the 34-year-old Dutchman, who successfully defended his world heavyweight title for the eleventh time in the Gelredome at the beginning of November. Verhoeven’s contract was due to expire in 2024.

Verhoeven will participate in the so-called Glory Grand Prix in March on a wild card, a tournament between eight heavyweights. The other participants are Tariq Osaro, Levi Rigters, Uku Jürjendal, Bahram Rajabzadeh, Sofian Laïdouni and Antonio Plazibat. Nabil Khachab and Nikola Filipovic battle for the final ticket.
