Qhis Sunday, August 7, Porto San Giorgio (in the province of Fermo) will host an unpublished three-act adaptation of theAida by Giuseppe Verdi.
The appointment at Rocca Tiepolo
In the municipality of Porto San Giorgio there is a little gem that must absolutely be visited. It is about Rocca Tiepolo, a structure built in 1267 by the mayor of Fermo, Lorenzo Tiepolo. Is that stands behind the Church of San Giorgio.
The quadrangular fortress (with a keep and Guelph battlements), which at the time played a role of lookout and defense of the coast, is currently seat of theatrical cultural events. All thanks also to one recent renovation.
Precisely in this context it will be held this Sunday7 August, at 9.15 pm the representation ofAida by Giuseppe Verdi. The choice of this work came from the association Opera meetingsin collaboration with the Department of Culture.

What will be staged will be an adaptation ofAidain three acts. In addition to the voices, accompanied by the piano, there will in fact be an unprecedented interaction with the dance troupe. The idea is from the director Paolo Santarelli: create an internal dialogue between the arts. A dialogue that will allow spectators to enter with even more transport story set in Ancient Egypt.
The presale will be open at the box office of the municipal theater today, Tuesday 2 August, from 6pm to 8pm. But also on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 August from 10am to 1pm. The cost is 10 euros. In case of bad weather, the show will be held in the theater.
