Venla Vierto won the SM overall competition of bikini Fitness.

Sunday culminated in the Nordic Fitness Expo in Lahti with the Bikini Fitness SM overall competition, which was won by Venla Vierto.

– It feels incredible. I still don’t believe this to be true. I have worked really hard, so this victory feels deserved, he said.

– The season started a bit badly a couple of weeks ago at the Arnold Classic Europe. There was no place in the final. Otherwise, the performance at the Arnold was quite unsuccessful in many aspects, so that’s why the SC victory feels so good, when the performance was improved a lot.

25-year-old Vierto competed in bikini fitness for the first time last year. The result line was impressive: second place in the WC for rookies, second in PM, second in the WC and fourth in the WC.

The athlete from Tampere has a long background in dance. Six years of gym training are behind him.

– Dance has been an important basis for this sport ever since I started performing.

In just over a week, the World Championships in South Korea are ahead.

– I haven’t had time to set goals there yet. Let’s go enjoy.
