Gogi Mavromichalis, who was awarded performer of the year at the Venla gala, says that he has resigned from Yleisradio.
Constantinos “Gogi” Mavromichalis, known from Yle Kiosk and Gogi kantabar, says on Instagram that he has resigned from Yle.
– For exactly seven years I have been a permanent employee at Yleisradio and now it’s time to move on to try out what the entrepreneur’s work vest really feels like, Gogi writes on Instagram.
He was initially a graphic designer at Yle, after which he started hosting the Yle kioski show aimed at young people.
– In it, I drove a really ecological Yankee SUV around the city and interviewed people I knew from the public.
Gogi says that the cooperation with Yle will not end, but that he plans to continue making content for Yle.

Gogi says that there will also be completely new projects.
Many other Yle employees also work as entrepreneurs or freelancers. Iltalehti previously told how super popular Ville “Viki” Eerikkilä and Juuso “Köpi” Kallio work as freelancers through their company for Yle. This enables other work to be done, such as commercial collaborations.
Gogi originally became known as the Romeo of Hidden Lives.
