“It was passers-by who reported to us that their view was hindered by smoke development,” said fire brigade spokesman Walter Derieuw. “It turned out to be a vegetation fire under the Brussels Ring. We sent a car pump on site and about 8,500 liters of water later, the fire was extinguished.”
