Teemu Selänne and his 16-year-old daughter Veera participated together in Hanko’s tennis weeks. Both received trophies from the tournament.
Veera Selänne won the five-match women’s A-3 singles series on Wednesday. Final Karolina Krookia against was exciting, but Selänne, who grew up in California, finally managed to beat his opponent in a prolonged third set.

The NHL legend also participated in the over-40 men’s doubles Johannes Asujan with. The duo finished second in the tournament, for which they were rewarded with a smaller trophy.
