‘These amounts are a joke’
Amsterdam – From 2023, students will again receive free money from the government to spend their expensive study time. A cabinet proposal is similar to the system from before 2015, but in a more austere version. Some students call it rude, others are happy with every euro. “I’m a big fan of the basic grant idea, but the amounts mentioned are a joke.”
