Flemish Minister of Youth Benjamin Dalle supports the action and raised the Dumamee flag in Chiro Heffen on Sunday. In addition, over the next four years, the Flemish Government will support fourteen youth organizations that actively work on children and young people with disabilities. Dalle is allocating around 1.8 million euros for this.
Dozens of youth movements in Flanders hoisted the official Dumamee flag on Sunday, a signal to the entire area that they are open to members with disabilities. More than 200 local youth movements have now joined the campaign.
