This is the Varignana Music Festivalwhich has been held every summer for 8 years in Varignana Palaceimmersed in the Bolognese hills.
From 29 June to 7 July the resort will host a rich program of concerts under the stars with artists like Francesca Dego (Thursday 30 June), Alexander Romanovsky (Tuesday 5th July) And Gloria Campaner (Wednesday 6 July). To complete the musical experience, a gourmet aperitif with tasting of extra virgin olive oils and wines of the farm of Palazzo di Varignana, to be savored at sunset while waiting for the concert.

Before taking a seat and letting yourself be lulled by the notes, the Varignana Music Festival has always dedicated the arrival to the evening aperitif. A moment to leave the day behind by tasting the estate’s high quality products. The gourmet aperitif includes one tasting of extra virgin olive oils and wines from the Palazzo di Varignana farm, accompanied by the menu specially designed by the Resort’s chefs, to discover the zero-kilometer flavors grown on the estate. The program of the Varignana Music Festival 2022
Wednesday 29 June at 9 pm the inauguration of the Festival is entrusted to Chorus and Orchestra of the Varignana Music Festival, official team of the event. The direction of Lorenzo Bizzarri will transport visitors to the notes of the most famous choirs, arias and duets in the history of operaalso thanks to the solo voices of the soprano Elena Borine of the tenore Valerio Borgioni.

Thursday 30 June at the Amphitheater on the Lagori will play a second symphonic appointment, with theOfficial orchestra of the Emilia-Romagna Region and of Arturo Toscanini Philharmonicled by Alessandro Cadario, with the violinist Francesca Dego, engaged in a all Mozart program which also includes the famous Serenade Einekleine Nachtmusik and the Fifth Concerto “alla Turca”.
Tuesday 5th Julywill be the evening of Alexander Romanovsky, testimonial since the 1st edition of the e guest pianist of orchestras ranging from the Accademia di Santa Cecilia to the London Philharmonic, which on the Bentivoglio Terrace will dedicate a recital to one of its tutelary deities, Sergej Rachmaninovwhose 150th anniversary will occur in 2023.
Wednesday 6th Julyon the Bentivoglio Terracespace to dance and the trio of soloists formed by Gloria Campaner on piano, Alessandro Carbonare on clarinet and Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi on bandoneon, with a tribute to Astor Piazzolla and with the participation of Chiara Benati and Andrea Vighi, world champions of Argentine tango.
Romanovsky will close the Festival on Thursday 7 July at the Amphitheater on the Lake next to the Camerata RCO, composed of the first parts of the Royal Concertgebouw of Amsterdam, the greatest Dutch orchestra, between the notes of Mozart and Chopinof which he will complete the integral of the Piano Concerts which began in Varignana in 2017.
