VAR statement from TFF President Mehmet Büyükekşi: Records for next season…

TFF President Mehmet Büyükekşi made special statements to A Spor, where he was the guest of the live broadcast.

Making the evaluation of the season, Büyükekşi made striking statements about the general assembly, the Champions League final, the National Team Coach Stefan Kuntz and the VAR records.

HERE ARE THE WORDS OF THE BIGGER:

“Most of the Super League clubs have expressed their support to me. Our President Ali Koç also shared it. 90 percent of the presidents said good luck. But there are still 3 days for the candidacy. Anyone who wants can also be a candidate.”

“Last year, we were nominated for a one-year term. There was no other candidate in this 1-year framework, we were nominated to bring a new perspective to Turkish football and we won the election. No candidate has emerged for a new 4-year term until now.”

“We took the duty for one year. We are going to the general assembly again. All of our institutions were also for one year. With our general assembly, all of them will expire. After the election, we will decide according to the table.”

“We are proud to have organized such a great football organization as the Champions League. Everyone saw that there were great difficulties in Paris last year. We received a great appreciation from the whole world. UEFA President Ceferin offered his thanks.”

“We continue with our teacher. We do not comment on this issue. There are 2 very important matches. Our teacher is at his job. The results of these matches are also extremely important. I hope we get the results we want.”

“This year, both the break due to the World Cup, the break due to the earthquake, the matches that slipped into the week due to the election… Despite all of this, the champion team was announced a week ago. The team that was relegated was determined last week. “We showed the right management. No team has been championed or relegated by 10-15 points. The competition continued until the last week.”

“Next year, if nothing goes wrong, we will attempt to implement the semi-automatic offside system.”

“We do not have a project to announce the VAR records next season. We shared 2 VAR records with the public, for educational purposes, one-time only. We said that it was only once. It was shared for educational purposes in the Netherlands, too. Such mistakes will be made in the future. We took steps to prevent it from happening.”
