About the Official Application We Made to the Turkish Football Federation
Our club made an official application to the Turkish Football Federation with the demands of explaining the real reason for the appointment of a referee for the same match with the VAR records of the match we played with Fenerbahçe in the 27th week of the Spor Toto Super League.

Our request for the disclosure of the VAR records of the Fenerbahçe-Beşiktaş match, which we mentioned in our club statement dated 22.03.2023, and which we reminded once again yesterday, was not met, and upon the referee’s performance in the last derby match played, a written application has to be made to your federation.
Wrong or deliberate decisions made by referee Halil Umut Meler during the match are perceived by the public as an operation to exclude Beşiktaş from the league race. In particular, it is not possible to explain the first penalty decision given against us.
At this point, we would like to emphasize once again that; As our president has repeatedly stated, it is now obvious that the problems will not be resolved and the chaotic environment will not improve without a white page in the refereeing community.
We think that our view that all matches played by these teams should be deemed null and void after our two eminent clubs were withdrawn from the league due to the earthquake caused discomfort within the Turkish Football Federation.
In our community; Due to our desire in this direction, it was thought that our team was tried to be blocked by the TFF and some referees.
We expect the VAR records of the Fenerbahçe-Beşiktaş match to be announced immediately in order to eliminate these opinions in the public opinion. Although this request will not be accepted again, we see the public interest and necessity in listening to VAR speeches in an environment where one official from each club will be present. Moreover, this is not a one-sided request, it is a demand accepted by our rival Fenerbahce.
By the way, we would like to point out that; For what reason were the referees appointed by artificial intelligence assigned manually in this match? What is the real reason for this? For what purpose did MHK make such a request?
In order to end the discussions, we see it as a necessity to explain this issue to the public.
