Vanluchene again world sidecar cross champion
Vanluchene and Musset came to Castelnau, France, with a 23-point lead over opponents Bax and Cermak. Vanluchene and Musset managed to win the first heat from the holeshot. Opponent Bax dropped out with a broken clutch and was unable to score any more points. Vanluchene and Musset later also win the second series and thus also win the Grand Prix. Second world title
It is not the first time that Marvin Vanluchene has won the world title. In 2018 he became world champion for the first time together with his then Dutch co-pilot Ben van den Bogaart. At the time, Vanluchene was the youngest world champion ever.
