Green co-chairman Jeremie Vaneeckhout does not seem impressed by the additional investment that the Flemish government is planning in childcare. According to Vaneeckhout, “every extra euro in childcare” is a good thing, but he dismisses a possible injection of around 250 million euros as “peanuts”. Moreover, the Jambon government’s investment comes “much too late” and lacks “plans and vision”.
