Vandals irritate dog club: ‘It is hit here every Saturday night’

Dog association De Hondenvriend in Eindhoven fell victim to vandals on Saturday night. And that is not the first time. Now windshields on the site have been broken and according to secretary Jeroen Walschot, people have also walked on the roof of the building. “Fortunately it’s not broken.”

According to Jeroen ‘this has been going on for years’. “Chairs have been lit here before, attributes that we use to train police dogs have been destroyed, wooden walkways have been demolished and windows have been smashed. It is too much to mention.”

“We are starting to doubt whether there is sometimes a targeted action.”

The board members do not know who the perpetrators are. “If we hang cameras here and they are also smashed, we are even further away from home.”

Do you think it’s the same perpetrators? “We are now starting to doubt whether there is sometimes a targeted action,” says Jeroen. “Because every Saturday night it hits here.”
