Vandals daub windows and doors in the center of Kortrijk

The vandals struck in at least three places. They daubed windows and doors in Sint-Janswijk, Veldstraat and Pieter De Conincklaan, among others. “There may be several perpetrators,” says Thomas Detavernier. “Front doors have been damaged, windows and doors have been smashed in with heavy objects.”

The perpetrators have not been traced for the time being, but the police hopes to be able to arrest them quickly through testimonies and camera images. It is not yet clear why the vandals struck there.
