Vandals have been destroying the square at De Kroevert primary school in Kronenberg for weeks. A window of the building has also been smashed and walls have been defaced with swear words.
The square at the school does not only serve as a schoolyard, but also as a playground for the children from the village. Bird houses made by children have been destroyed there in recent weeks.
Extra supervision
The police reports Instagram that there will be extra supervision around the square in the coming period. “As the police, we will keep an extra close eye on the square in the coming period, both conspicuously and inconspicuously. We also ask parents of youth who hang out in the square more often to start a conversation with their children about these vandalism.”
It is not the first time that vandalism has taken place on the Kronenberg square. It happened in October last year as well.
