The fight against drug crime will become a new competence of State Security (VSSE). “Because narcoterrorism, like other terrorist organizations, tries to undermine the rule of law,” said Justice Minister Vincent Van Quickenborne, who has just returned from the safehouse after serious threats from the drug environment. “The VSSE is particularly concerned about corruption, not only among customs officers, but also among magistrates and lawyers.”
