The accident happened around 11:15 p.m. in Moeskroenstraat in Rekkem. The driver of the van drove in the direction of the roundabout with Dronckaertstraat and lost control of his vehicle near Kattestraat. The van left the road and collided with several parked cars. A Volkswagen Caddy ended up on its side against the facade of a house, which also caused damage to the house. A Ford also suffered heavy blows. All vehicles had to be towed. The driver of the van was taken to hospital for evaluation.
