Nils van der Poel left the Dutch skaters without a chance on Friday with a sensational ride in the Olympic 10 kilometers. The Swedish top favorite drove a world record to gold for the longest distance, for which Patrick Roest had to settle for silver in Beijing. Jorrit Bergsma disappointed with a fourth place.
