1/2 Van collides with tanker and catches fire
A delivery van hit the back of a tank truck on the exit of the A16 near Moerdijk on Tuesday morning. The impact caused the van to catch fire.
The accident happened just after 10 a.m. The emergency services are in full force. An air ambulance has also been called. It is still unclear what the condition of the driver of the van is.
Due to the accident, the A16 is closed from the Zonzeel junction in the direction of Rotterdam. Traffic is being diverted via the A58, A27 and A15. According to the ANWB, traffic must take into account a delay of more than an hour.
