Van Aert wins E3 Classic Harelbeke: “A wonderful team performance, I have no words for it”

The E3 Classic Harelbeke was today the second of three WorldTour competitions in five days in our country. Tim Merlier won the Classic Brugge-De Panne on Wednesday, followed by Gent-Wevelgem on Sunday. Last year, Kasper Asgreen won on the Stasegemseteenweg in Harelbeke and the Dane was again highly ranked by the bookmakers. But in the end it is Wout Van Aert who won.

But we are also focusing on the digital platform. For example, we were able to stream the team presentation on Friday morning via, among others, Focus-WTV, especially for the people who could not be present in Harelbeke,” said spokesman Jacques Coussens of the organizing committee.
