Finland’s most famous sports couple Valtteri Bottas and Tiffany Cromwell rode on Sunday in cycling races in Colorado, USA with successful results.

The races were mostly cycled on gravel roads.

Bottas drove the 30-39-year-old series to victory over a distance of 60 miles, or about 96.5 kilometers, on the red track. In the overall race of over 700 cyclists, Bottas was fourth.

Cromwell, 34, who is known as an Olympic-level competitive cyclist, won the women’s 100-mile, or just under 161-kilometer, blue track race.

The colors of the tracks reflect their demands – Cromwell drove on a track one class more demanding than Botta. The most demanding of all was the black track, which was more than 228 kilometers long.

Bottas currently has plenty of time for cycling races, as the F1 season is on summer break. The next race is on the last weekend of August in Belgium.
