The Colorado Avalanche will have to make do without Valery Nitshushkin.

The Colorado Avalanche suffered a setback in the warm-up of the NHL match in Tampere, when the Russian forward Valery Nitshuškin had to leave the game.
It is most obviously an injury, as the Russian has been sidelined for the last two Avalanche matches. The Colorado club confirmed on its Twitter account that Nitšuškin will have to miss the evening’s match as well.
Nitšuškin, 27, has opened the season perfectly and is the team’s best scorer together by Nathan MacKinnon with. Nitšuškin and MacKinnon have both scored 12 power points.
