Italian fashion house Maison Valentino has launched a new awareness-raising section on its website, ‘Creating Shared Value’, showcasing the house’s daily activities and commitment to a green transformation.
The continuously updated area allows users to interact with the world of the Italian label. Each of its values is covered on the platform in three sections – People, Planet and Products – alongside key principles and specific initiatives.
While “People” addresses the human component of the house and promotes an inclusive corporate culture, with the “Planet” section Valentino reaffirms its commitment to transparent practices and an environmentally responsible business model.
In this area, the luxury house is also introducing a new partnership with Karma Metrix, which coincides with the launch of the new platform. Within this framework, the company will introduce a digital measurement system for sustainability and carry out a study to raise internal awareness of the topic.
Additionally, the Products section will show how the brand is adapting its heritage to meet the needs of today’s consumer, describing manufacturing processes, the new meaning of luxury and exploring more eco-friendly practices.
Valentino chose writer-director Ainslie Henderson to tell the story of how the new section came about. In a stop-motion video, it documents what the platform stands for and how it introduces a cultural discourse.
