Darias highlights the importance of vaccination
The Minister of Health, Carolina Darias, has highlighted the importance of starting the vaccination campaign of the second booster dose.

It is a country decision taken jointly and by consensus and that, once again, will allow us to continue advancing”, said the minister during the inauguration of the III Symposium of the Health Observatory, ‘Looking towards the future of the health system’, organized by El Español and Invertia.
This ‘prick’ will mean the fourth dose of the vaccine in Spain. It is expected to receive 16 million vaccines for September and for the next quarter 44 million adapted to the Ómicron variants. Other measures highlighted by Darias have been the preparation of the Mental Health Action Plan, “which has already provided a firstthe 024 phone to prevent suicide“; the approval of an item of 172 million euros that aims to implement the strategic framework of Primary and Community Care; the creation of a Personalized and Precision Medicine Plan; the National Strategy for Cardiovascular Diseases; the update of the Strategy Cancer National, or the creation of a specific division in the Ministry of Health to fight against diseases such as HIV or viral hepatitis, among others.
“We continue to advance with reforms and investments to achieve a more longitudinal, more robust, cohesive, universal and equitable health system that contributes to improving the lives of people and, especially, of the most vulnerable.
