The sporting goods retailer Unleash Your Nature (UYN), which belongs to the Italian bicycle and sporting goods manufacturer Trerè Innovation, is planning a big opening wave in Germany.
After the first sales area in the Zweibrücken Fashion Outlet, around 40 of the brand’s locations are expected to open by the end of 2024, a spokesman told FashionUnited. The first location is now scheduled to open soon in downtown Cologne, where UYN is currently in the process of “finalizing the contracts”. Further locations are planned in Wolfsburg and Nuremberg.
At the Munich and Düsseldorf locations, which were actually supposed to initiate the stationary expansion – FashionUnited reported at the beginning of August – the company is currently still in discussions with landlords, according to the Italian Asola.
In Germany, the group operates through its subsidiary Tre Vertriebs GmbH, which is responsible for sales and its own stores. On the market, UYN is represented at department stores such as Berlin’s KaDeWe and Nuremberg’s Wöhrl, but also at sports retailers such as McTrek Outdoor Sports in Kassel and Göttingen and various Intersport partners. The brand achieved wholesale sales of around seven million euros last year.
