But what are the elements parents should consider when they are faced with the choice of buying the smartphone for their children?

Price, size, resistance

Price: the first smartphone shouldn’t be the most expensive model on the market since the phone it can be easily damaged during use especially by the little ones. The price should therefore be low.

Dimensions: the phone should fit in your child’s hand or trouser pocket. Because kids have small hands, smaller phones are easier to use and handle and less prone to falls or other dynamics that can damage it.

Resistence: not always as young people take the right care of their personal effects and this also applies to smartphones. It is always better to include a screen protector in glass and / or enclosures.

Safety and sustainability

Safety: agree with your children the basic rules for use. By setting, for example, usage limits during the day, for what activity and for how long.
