“I feel very, very happy to have gotten through such a difficult match against Jannik. The level we have shown has been spectacular. We have both pushed ourselves to the limit. Alcaraz defeated Sinner 7-5, 6-7, 6-7, 7-5 and 6-3 in five hours and fifteen minutes and qualified for the semifinals of the US Open, in which he will face the American Frances Tiafoe.
