US law enforcement officers threatened over FBI search of Trump’s home
U.S. law enforcement, especially at the federal level, has received threats since the FBI searched the home of former President Donald Trump last week. The FBI and the Department of Homeland Security have circulated an internal memo about this, which several US media report on.
One of the most worrisome threats came from someone who said they would “place a so-called dirty bomb in front of FBI headquarters.” People were also called for civil war and an armed uprising, news channel CBS reported on the basis of the internal memo. In addition, people directly involved in the search have received death threats. Most threats were made online.
