NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) – US government bonds limited the price losses in late trading on Wednesday. They only gave in moderately. The futures contract for ten-year bonds (T-Note Future) was down 0.10 percent at 114.53 points. The yield on ten-year government bonds was 3.57 percent.
In the first half of the week, concerns about a new banking crisis on the financial markets subsided noticeably. Investors therefore continued to avoid comparatively safe investments such as US bonds. Market observers spoke of low-impact trading on the American bond market. Data from the US real estate market did not move the listings any more./bek/he
