In early December, after the expiry of the old collective labor agreement and without a new agreement, the MLB instituted a so-called lockout. This meant, among other things, that players could no longer change clubs, while training was also not allowed.
The MLB reports that the deadlock that developed after the failed negotiation has ended. That would mean that the competition, which should have started on March 31, can now start on April 7 with some delay. Spring training can already start on Sunday. There will be a full season with 162 rounds.
