American astronaut Mark Vande Hei landed safely in Kazakhstan on Wednesday afternoon at 13.30 Dutch time. Earlier today, he left for Earth with two Russian cosmonauts in a Russian capsule of the ISS space station. Russia previously threatened to leave Vande Hei behind. That was the result of sanctions imposed by the US on Russia, because of the war in Ukraine.
