The American actress Kirstie Alley, best known for her role as Mollie in the film series “Look Who’s Talking!” (1989), died at the age of 71 of complications from cancer. This was announced on Tuesday (December 06) via their social media channels. Many colleagues, including John Travolta and Jamie Lee Curtis, have already expressed their condolences.
A statement on Alley’s Twitter page said the actress was “surrounded by her immediate family” during her battle with the disease. “Not only was she an icon on screen, but she was also a great mother and grandmother… She inspired us to live life to the fullest, just as she did. We thank you for the love and prayers and ask that you respect our privacy at this difficult time.”

John Travolta and Jamie Lee Curtis say goodbye
“Look who’s talking” colleague John Travolta commemorated Alley on Instagram with the words “Kirstie gave me one of the most extraordinary relationships I’ve ever had. i love you I know we will meet again.”
Jamie Lee Curtis, who worked with Alley on the second season of the television series Scream Queens, also explained on Instagram that Alley “[in der Serie] a great, funny role and an amazing mother bear in real life.
