The West Flanders public prosecutor’s office also confirms that the 44-year-old man killed his wife with several stab wounds spread all over the body. He then also set fire to their car, which was in the garage. The fire spread to the house in Zultseweg.
The couple ran a wellness center there. When emergency services arrived on the scene, they found the woman seriously injured in the kitchen. The victim was brought outside and resuscitated on the spot, but succumbed to her injuries.
