Up to four times more requests for help with ‘Stop it Now!’: the helpline for child abuse prevention wants to be available every day

Sven Pichal’s lawyers argue for more resources for prevention of child sexual abuse. The free helpline ‘Stop it Now!’ has received many more requests for help since the Pichal case, but cannot handle two-thirds due to insufficient staffing. “A daily moment when our service is available by telephone and via chat would certainly not be an unnecessary luxury,” says project coordinator Minne De Boeck.
