Up to 366 billion dollars needed annually for climate adaptation in developing countries

Developing countries will need $194 billion (€182 billion) to $366 billion (€344 billion) annually this decade to prepare for the effects of climate change and adapt their environments accordingly. That is ten to eighteen times more than the government money already spent on climate adaptation, according to a report from the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) on Thursday.
