Phones of a certain production batch manufactured at the German factory in Bochum were particularly sought after. According to the claims, thanks to a firmware bug, the phone could capture text messages sent to other numbers and thus, for example, get hold of confirmation messages used to identify online banks.

Over the years, Apple’s iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have also reached the figure of more than 200 million devices sold. Over the years, these first big iPhones sold a total of more than 220 million units.
