Up to 18,000 reception places at the end of March: “400 euros compensation”

Exactly how many refugees come to Flanders remains guesswork. People who take in refugees at home themselves are entitled to a compensation of 400 euros if they do so for at least three months. In addition, Flanders provides around 20 emergency villages with a maximum of 250 housing units per village.

It is not yet clear where exactly these should be, Flanders is discussing this with the governor and the local authorities.
