Next please! After Sven Michel (32/Augsburg), Paul Seguin (28) is the next reservist to leave the Irons.
The midfielder is about to move to second division club Schalke (contract until 2026). Union collects a transfer fee of around 750,000 euros.
Seguin only played a supplementary role at Union last season: 20 appearances (4 times starting eleven, 16 times as a substitute), one goal, three assists. The native of Magdeburg had not even been registered for the European Cup.
Bochum, Augsburg and Hanover are also said to have been involved with Seguin.
