Tallon Grepe has won a great victory at the ABN-Amro tournament in Rotterdam. The 26-year-old tennis player from Nieuw-Vennep won in three sets against the much higher ranked Alexander Zverev: 4-6, 6-3, 6-4. Thanks to the victory, the Greek track qualifies for the quarterfinals of the Dutch ATP tournament.
In the first set, Greek leg had a hard time with the global number seventeen. Zverev therefore took the first set 6-4, but in the second set the Greek track fought in the match. The North Hollander played fresh and won the second set 6-3. In the last set, the Greek track was very dominant in its own games and pulled the match: 6-4.
This year, the Greek track is in excellent shape. He already won the Pune ATP tournament and reached the third round at the Australian Open. In it he had to bow his head to Stefanos Tsisipas.
