Unlimited Footwear Group secures shoe license from Paul Frank

The Dutch Unlimited Footwear Group (UFG) has entered into a footwear licensing partnership with Paul Frank.

The licensee will design, manufacture, market and distribute footwear for 50 countries – including the entire European Union, Eastern Europe, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Scandinavia – UFG announced on Tuesday.

The Heritage Footwear Company, owned by UFG, will oversee the collection, which will be released twice a year. The first Paul Frank footwear collection for men, women and children is scheduled for launch in spring/summer 2023.

“UFG is thrilled to add another great brand to its licensing portfolio! We look forward to working closely with the Paul Frank team on many future fun footwear collections,” said UFG Managing Director Bart van Helvoirt. “The more than 30 years of experience in the shoe industry and the international focus that UFG brings with it are a perfect match for the Paul Frank brand.”

Paul Frank founded the brand of the same name in 1995 in Huntington Beach, California and gave away purses with different characters on them. These are still part of the brand’s DNA today.
