The first unitex Fashion Festival will take place on May 31 and June 1, 2022 – the Ulm trade fair will be the place to be for the fashion industry. The exhibitors are now set and the registration deadline for guests is approaching. New this year: All dealers are invited – not just unitex members!
The focus of the event is the meet and greet: “It’s about exchange, it’s about well-being, partnership and good vibes,” says Gerhard Albrecht, Managing Director of unitex GmbH. “The fashion industry has not been able to meet physically for so long. We all miss that.”
And everyone really means everyone, which is why unitex GmbH is also opening its event to non-members for the first time. “The idea originally came from our exhibition partners,” explains Gerhard Albrecht. “Again and again the question came up as to whether they shouldn’t be allowed to invite their regular customers.” An understandable request, after all the suppliers and service providers have hardly had the opportunity to present their portfolio live in recent times.
But it’s not just the business aspect that plays a role at the unitex Fashion Festival, it’s also about having fun and celebrating together. That’s why the guests can look forward to a very special party program in the evening: Tim Bendzko live on stage! After the concert, DJane 2elements will further heat up the atmosphere. “We are looking forward to an exuberant evening with lots of good vibes and exuberance – in a very special atmosphere.” And so that hunger or thirst do not spoil the mood, unitex invites all guests to food trends from all over the world: “It is on us.”
“Community, Happiness, Good Vibes” is the unofficial motto of the event. That’s why the two key notes are all about happiness. Right at the start of the Fashion Fair, bestselling author Maike van den Boom reveals the secret of happiness. And the following day, futurologist Prof. Dr. Ulrich Reinhardt told the excited audience why we can look forward to the future – and scientifically sound.
