Berlin (Reuters) – United Internet expects more profits and sales for the new year.
The adjusted operating result (Ebitda) is expected to rise to 1.42 billion euros, the internet provider announced on Tuesday evening. For this year, United Internet is expecting 1.29 billion euros. United Internet forecasts an increase in group sales to around 6.5 billion euros for 2024 (forecast for 2023: around 6.2 billion euros). The company wants to continue investing heavily in the coming year, especially in the expansion of its fiber optic network and mobile phone network. Cash capex is expected to be ten to 20 percent higher than in the current year (forecast for 2023: around 800 million euros).
