Unique tile tableau of fisherman in train station

Unique tile tableau of fisherman in train station

It depicts a fisherman returning with his catch, and from now on points train passengers to the seaside town’s glorious fishing past.

It is a work by the Uitkerk architect Jules Heyneman. The restoration of the heavily damaged tableau cost more than 5,000 euros. It has been restored at the initiative of the circle of friends of the city guides, thanks to many donations.
